It has been a long time since that young boy started this blog more than 10 years ago to write about Magento 1 development. At that time, there was no official documentation provided by the Magento Company (the Magento Company belonged to Permira Funds back in 2012), and a Magento developer’s life was based on a bunch of trials and errors along the way. No wonder why I lost many hairlines at that time.

After many changes in my career, I started to write fewer and fewer blog posts over time. I understand that my posts used to help newbie Magento developers all around Brazil, where there wasn’t too much information about Magento development at that time but the market and the merchants were excited about using the platform.

Here we are, a couple of years have passed by and, after some good experience in the Magento 2 development field, I decided to get back to my blog and post what I’ve been doing. Even today, after thousands of hours of developing new features, bug fixes, and customizations to Magento 2, I see that this is still challenging in so many ways in my career that I decided to start sharing my experience with everyone who may think it is needed.

I’m excited to see what ideas I’m gonna be sharing with you soon. It’s important to say that these ideas may not be strictly based on Magento 2 development only, because sometimes I also feel like I need somewhere to post my thoughts not related to the development of the big-tech industry, but some personal ideas, financial ones, English stuff, etc.
